Mala`ai is an independent non-profit in partnership with Waimea Middle School. All funding for the programming at Mala`ai comes from private donations and grants. Private donations are the backbone of Mala`ai. Every dollar given to Mala`ai is filtered back to the students, into the `aina, and then back out again as beautiful and edible plants.
